Kellie Nolte
Kellie is a paralegal at M. Barrett Law. Kellie graduated from Gordon State College with an Associate’s of Science in Nursing. Her varied professional experience includes many years in customer service, management, and nursing. In her free time, Kellie enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with her family.
Lindsay Koziel
Somer Day
Somer attended Gadsden State College, earning a degree in paralegal studies. Following graduation, she began her career as a paralegal, gaining extensive experience in various legal areas including family law, personal injury, criminal law, and post-conviction matters over the course of a decade.
Currently, Somer is working toward an undergraduate degree in pre-law at Liberty University. At M. Barrett Law she assists attorney Melissa Barrett with various areas of law including civil litigation, probate, and estate planning. Somer is deeply passionate about providing excellent customer service to clients through the legal process.
Outside of work. Somer is a proud mother of two children and a dedicated dog mom to Chief, a German Shepherd, and Wally, a Boxer. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, reading, and attending concerts, with the Beatles being her all-time favorite band.
Lindsay is an Estate Planning Paralegal who specializes in Irrevocable, Revocable, and Supplemental Needs Trusts. Her personal legal interests lie in creating custom Estate Plans to ensure that our client's individual needs are protected.
Lindsay graduated with high honors from the University of West Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a double minor in Anthropology and Gender Studies. During her Undergraduate Program, Lindsay attended a creative writing collective in Spoleto, Italy.
After her initial education, Lindsay received a Paralegal Certificate from the University of Georgia. In the upcoming future, Lindsay plans to continue her legal journey by attending Law School.
In her personal life, Lindsay enjoys spending her time in the outdoors hiking and spending time with her friends, parents, and two cats. Her interest in Estate Planning stems from taking care of her elderly parents, and Lindsay desires to care for her clients like they are family

Melissa Barrett is an attorney in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia and owner of M. Barrett Law. In her free time Melissa enjoys gardening, canning, and spending time with her family.
